Ahh the starting of a new year. This year
I will finally catch up on all of my old orders and start fresh. Here are some
of the tomahawks that have gone out the door lately, plus some other interesting
shots of life around the shop.

An Albuquerque with a nice scabbard. You can
still see the wax bits on the scabbard. Each scabbard is dipped and soaked in
hot parafin to waterproof and seal the leather. Leftover bits stay around the
rivets and stitching. Note also the handmade hardware. This one ended up in
Hawaii.

This tomahawk has
a faceted bowl and a leather/rawhide wrapped handle. I like the combination of
sewn leather and wet wrapped rawhide strip. This one went to California to a
dealer.
